Ingredients
12 oz Thick Restaurant-Style Tortilla Chips — 1 bag
1 lbs Cooked Seasoned Ground Beef — taco spiced
2.5 cups Shredded Mexican Blend or Cheddar Cheese
1 can Black Beans — 15 oz, rinsed and drained
1/3 cups Pickled Jalapeño Slices
1/2 cups Sour Cream
2 tbsp Fresh Cilantro — chopped
Equipment
Half Sheet Pan
Parchment Paper
DirectionsGet to the point
1Preheat oven to 400°F. Line sheet pan with parchment.
2Layer half the chips, half the cooked seasoned beef, black beans, and half the cheese.
3Repeat with second layer of chips, beef, and remaining cheese.
4Bake 7 minutes until cheese is molten, then broil 1 minute until bubbly. Top with jalapeños and sour cream.
Dad pro tip

Always buy thick "restaurant style" tortilla chips. Thin deli chips collapse and get soggy under heavy beef and beans.

Kid adjustment

Put jalapeños on only half the pan for the adults.

Reheat

Reheat in oven at 375°F for 4 minutes to restore chip crunch.
